SHERIF MITYAS

CEO, BRIX Holdings

Sherif serves as Chief Executive Officer of BRIX Holdings. He focuses on supporting the group in the areas of strategic positioning, growth, and M&A, while leading the shared services and brand teams of the current portfolio companies of BRIX Holdings, LLC. Prior to this role, Mityas has held various executive positions in consulting and the retail-restaurant industry sectors most notably as the chief experience officer for TGI FRIDAYS and as the chief executive officer for Hollywood Video/Movie Gallery.

DAWN PETITE

President, Brix Holdings

Dawn is the President of BRIX Holdings, multi-brand restaurant portfolio company with eight franchise brands. Dawn began her career at Friendly’s Restaurants as an operations manager and has been with the Friendly’s brand for over 40 years. Currently, she is in charge of a multi-functional team of employees from corporate operations to franchise operations and training. Dawn previously worked as the Chief Operating Officer for J&B Restaurant Partners, where she oversaw operations for the largest franchisee in the Friendly’s organization, as well as multiple beach restaurants, bars, and the Gatsby on the Ocean Catering Hall.

MITZI BROWN

Chief Legal Officer

Mitzi is the Chief Legal Officer of BRIX Holdings, LLC. BRIX Holdings is a multi-brand franchising and restaurant management company whose portfolio includes iconic brands such as Friendly’s, Red Mango Café, Orange Leaf, Smoothie Factory + Kitchen, Humble Donut Co., Greenz, and Pizza JukeBox. Mitzi is a member of JAMCO Interests LLC, the majority owner of Amici Partners Group, LLC which owns and operates Friendly’s®. Prior to joining BRIX, she was Associate Corporate Counsel and later Vice President of Legal & Digital Content at Blockbuster.

RICK BROWN

Chief Financial Officer

Rick is the Chief Financial Officer for BRIX Holdings, LLC leading the Finance & Accounting functions and has 30+ years of experience in the retail/restaurant segment. BRIX Holdings is a multi-brand franchising and restaurant management company whose portfolio includes iconic brands such as Friendly’s, Red Mango Café, Orange Leaf, Smoothie Factory + Kitchen, Humble Donut Co., and Pizza Jukebox. Prior to joining BRIX, Rick served in the same capacity as CFO at TGI Friday’s for two years after being promoted from VP of FP&A. His finance career also includes ten years in various finance roles for Blockbuster, Inc. where he worked with several members of the current BRIX leadership. Rick sits on the board of directors for TH Rogers Lumber Co, a regional chain of 40+ lumber/hardware retail storefronts in the South-Central US.

ROBERTO DE ANGELIS

Chief Experience Officer

Roberto is the Chief Experience Officer of BRIX Holdings, LLC. BRIX Holdings is a multi-brand franchising and restaurant management company whose portfolio includes iconic brands such as Friendly’s, Red Mango Café, Orange Leaf, Smoothie Factory + Kitchen, Humble Donut Co., Greenz, and Pizza JukeBox. Prior to joining BRIX Holdings, Roberto served in various roles for P.F. Chang’s over 18 years, most recently as the chief operating officer of global development. While there, he led the concept adaptation, development and opening of restaurants across 30 countries. Additionally, throughout his career, he has held positions in hospitality, training, food and beverage, culinary, operations, and international franchise development. He brings with him extensive knowledge of delivering on the guest experience and brand promise for fine dining restaurants, QSRs and luxury hotels.

Maria Angles

Vice President of Supply Chain

Maria Angles is the Vice President of Supply Chain of BRIX Holdings, LLC. Maria has built a strong foundation in supply chain and procurement through leadership roles at major foodservice and retail brands spanning over 25 years. From overseeing Food and Beverage at Cinemark Theatres to managing purchasing for CiCi’s Pizza and later Gigi’s Cupcakes, she developed expertise in cost management, vendor negotiations, and logistics. As VP of Supply Chain at MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, she spearheaded strategic sourcing initiatives and operational efficiencies, navigating pandemic-era disruptions. These experiences paved the way for her current VP Supply Chain role at Brix Holdings, where she leads a team of brand directors supporting the diverse portfolio of six brands.

Erik Jensen

Vice President of Marketing

Erik Jensen is the Vice President of Marketing at BRIX Holdings, where he leads brand strategy, creative development, and omni-channel marketing across a portfolio of legacy and fast-growing restaurant brands. He drives national and local campaigns, loyalty, digital innovation, and in-store guest experience, while building scalable programs and measurement frameworks that strengthen franchisee success and deepen guest engagement.

Before joining BRIX, Erik held senior leadership roles at Keurig Dr Pepper and Denny’s Restaurants, where his teams delivered award-winning work recognized by Effie, Cannes Lions, and Addy. Earlier in his career, he led major accounts at DDB and Foote, Cone & Belding, shaping integrated campaigns for leading brands in retail, QSR, hospitality, and CPG.

Erik is a graduate of Michigan State University and resides in Dallas, TX.

Derek Linders

Vice President of Technology

Derek is the Vice President of Technology for BRIX Holdings, LLC. BRIX Holdings is a multi-brand franchising and restaurant management company whose portfolio includes iconic brands such as Friendly’s, Red Mango Café, Orange Leaf, Smoothie Factory + Kitchen, Humble Donut Co., Souper Salad, Clean Juice, and Pizza Jukebox. Prior to joining the BRIX team, Derek served in various leadership and regional food and beverage operational roles in the hospitality industry with ClubCorp, now Invited, for 24 years with the last 10 years focused on the transformation of restaurant technology and training. Derek also serves as the co-chair for the Dallas Chapter of The International Food and Beverage Technology Association (IFBTA).

Kimberly Otte

Vice President of Franchise Success

As Vice President of Franchise Success, Kimberly leads the operations and training teams in support of the franchise owners and operators. She has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant segment both in-restaurant (as a hostess, server, catering coordinator, and assistant manager) and in home office roles. Prior to joining Brix, she spent 19 years with TGI Friday’s in various roles including HR, International Development, Supply Chain Logistics, and Menu Innovation. Then moved on to roles with Club Corp on the Menu Implementation Team and Dickey’s BBQ in Menu Project Management and eventually leading the Training & NSO Team.

AMOL KOHLI

Chairman of BRIX Holdings

Amol Kohli serves as Chairman of BRIX Holdings and Managing Partner of Legacy Brands International; a private investment group focused on acquiring and growing scalable franchise concepts. With over 15 years of experience as a multi-unit operator of Friendly’s and Tilted Kilt, Amol brings a unique perspective—from franchisee to franchisor. His approach combines financial discipline, operational excellence, and a deep respect for the guest and team experience. Amol has a proven track record of turning around underperforming locations, mentoring future leaders, and creating long-term value for both investors and franchise partners. He is committed to building strong brand foundations that drive sustainable growth across the BRIX portfolio.

JOHN F. ANTIOCO

Managing Partner, JAMCO Interests LLC

John is the Chairman of the Board and Managing Member of JAMCO Interests LLC, the principal owner of BRIX Holdings, LLC which owns and operates Friendly’s®. Prior to JAMCO, John served as Chairman of Rave Cinemas and Chairman and CEO of Blockbuster, Taco Bell, TGI Fridays, PF Chang’s and Circle K. John began his career at the 7-Eleven convenience store chain and held numerous senior management positions during his 20-year tenure including Senior Vice President for the 8,000-outlet chain with responsibility for worldwide operations and marketing.

DAMON RANKIN

Chief Financial Officer Berkadia

Damon Rankin is a finance executive with 15 years of experience who has helped large public and private firms accelerate growth in line with their respective risk appetites. Damon delivers value and provides specialized guidance to CEOs and boards regarding audit oversight, financial reporting, corporate strategy, M&A, and risk management. Damon’s ability to independently navigate ambiguity and drive cost efficiencies has allowed him to make lasting improvements at the firms he has supported.

Damon is the Chief Financial Officer of Berkadia, a Berkshire Hathaway and Jefferies-owned commercial real estate firm. In 2024, Berkadia completed $39B in sales and financings, serviced $400B in assets, and ranked #1 in combined HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac multifamily loan originations. Damon leads the firm’s finance strategy, including assessment of M&A / partnership opportunities, margin improvement, and risk management. In addition, he manages the firm’s procurement, facilities, payroll, general accounting, and financial planning functions. The functions he leads operate from the firm’s India center and the US.

Damon led an effort to improve Berkadia’s cash earnings through a divestiture and the creation of the firm’s first ever margin improvement program. In addition, Damon worked with bank lenders and equity investors to double the size of the firm’s bridge lending program, which has been a key driver of client growth.

Prior to joining Berkadia, Damon worked at Deloitte Consulting in the Strategy & Operations practice. At Deloitte, he developed and implemented cost reduction strategies for Fortune 50 life sciences companies delivering over $50M of savings. Damon started his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ external audit practice where he covered consumer products and utility clients.

Damon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Drexel University where he graduated magna cum laude and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is an inactive Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania.

LARRY ZINE

Member, JAMCO Interests LLC

Larry is the financial advisor for Friendly’s Restaurants and Brix Holdings, LLC. He’s also a member of JAMCO Interests LLC, which is the majority owner of Amici Partners Group, LLC which owns and operates Friendly’s® and principal owner of BRIX Holdings. Larry previously served as Chief Financial Officer of P.F. Chang’s and Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Blockbuster, Inc. He also served as Chief Financial Officer, President and Board Member of Petro Stopping Centers, a national chain of truck stops. He began his career at the Circle K convenience store chain and held various management positions there including Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
